The launch of the “Uncharted Bhutan Tourism Attraction Book (TAB)” for the eastern district of Bhutan finally took place on November 21, 2022. The event was attended by His Excellency Loknath Sharma, the Minister of Economic Affairs, and Dr. Robert Wimmer, the Project Lead of GrAT, along with senior officials from various agencies. The SHINE project’s aim to boost tourism in eastern Bhutan was demonstrated through the presentation of the Regional Food Program, which highlighted the unique and vibrant cultural heritage of the area. The presentation emphasized the importance of preserving the region’s dying culture, making it a key attraction for tourists.
