The private sector met with Office of Cabinet Affairs and Strategic Coordination (OCASC) of the Cabinet and Prime Minister’s Office of Bhutan, to discuss the proposal on “Private Sector’s Engagement in the 13th Five-year Plan (FYP)”. The discussion highlighted collaboration between the government and private sector to achieve the 13th FYP through policy and regulatory streamlining create enabling business ecosystem, privatization, public private partnership (PPP) models, and outsourcing of government services.

The discussion was facilitated by Bhutan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) and supported by the Voice for Green Change Partnership (V4GCP) project, funded by the European Union (EU), and coordinated by Handicrafts Association of Bhutan (HAB). V4GCP Project aims to streamline policymaking and governance processes for the growth of the CSI/SME sectors in Bhutan towards green, resilient and sustainable economic development.
